SYNOPSIS

ccnpeek [-h] [-a] [-c] [-l lifetime] [-s scope] [-u] [-v] [-w timeout] ccnxuri

DESCRIPTION

The ccnpeek utility generates an Interest, with attributes modfied by the given options, for the supplied CCNx URI prefix, ccnxuri, and writes any response to stdout.

OPTIONS

-h

Generate the help message.

-a

Accept stale data in response to the interest.

-c

Content only, rather than the full ccnb encoded ContentObject, should be written to stdout.

-l lifetime

Specifies the lifetime, in seconds, of the interest. The lifetime is encoded in the interest in units of 1/4096 seconds, and the input value is rounded to this precision. A lifetime up to 30.0s can be specified, the default is 4s.

-s scope

Specifies the Scope of the interest, which limits where the interest can propagate. A value of 0 limits it to the local ccnd cache, 1 to the originating system, and 2 to no further than the next system. The default, with no scope specified, is unlimited forwarding.

-u

Allow unverified content to be returned.

-v

Resolve a version number prior to fetching the final ContentObject.

-w timeout

Specifies the wait time, in seconds, before returning if there is no response. Values in the range 0.001s to 60.0s can be specified, the default is 3s.
