Stefano Salsano received his Laurea degree in 1994 (Univ. of Rome “Tor Vergata”) and his PhD in 1998 (Univ. of Rome “La Sapienza”). From November 2000 he is assistant professor at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. From 1997 to 2000 he has been with CoRiTeL, a research institute on telecommunications, where he has been coordinator of the research activities in the IP related area. He has participated in several research projects founded by the EU (INSIGNIA, ELISA, AQUILA, FIFTH, SIMPLICITY, E2R, SMS, PERIMETER, CONVERGENCE, OFELIA), by the European Space Agency and by the Italian Ministry of Research. His current research interests include Information-Centric Networking, Mobile and Pervasive Computing, Seamless Mobility.
He has published more than 100 papers that have been collectively cited more than 1100 times. His h-index is 17. See his citations page.
